Amanda specializes in working with individuals experiencing OCD, anxiety disorders, trauma, and perinatal mood disorders. She also supports clients navigating ADHD, eating disorders, attachment-related concerns, life transitions, relationship stressors, and mood-related difficulties. Amanda also enjoys working with women and girls across the lifespan, as well as veterans and military families.
Therapeutic Approach
Amanda utilizes a collaborative, patient-centered, and goal-focused approach to therapy, emphasizing measurable and functional change. Her primary modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (ICBT) integrated with ERP for OCD treatment. As clinically appropriate, she also integrates psychodynamic and Jungian-informed perspectives to deepen insight and self-understanding. In addition, Amanda incorporates trauma-focused interventions, such as Brainspotting, to support clients in processing and resolving traumatic experiences. Treatment is tailored to each client’s needs, strengths, and goals.
